Thrive Movement Circus Camps (CT) July 9-27

Ground and Air Camp
July 9–20, 2018
Monday–Friday, 9am–1pm
Kids will be introduced to (or continue working on) juggling, devil stick, Chinese yo-yo, rolling globe, stilt walking, aerial arts (trapeze and fabric), unicycling, hula hoop, tight wire, acrobatics and partnering, mini trampoline and visual arts! We will also work on character and performance skills.
Aspiring circus artists will then select a few of their favorites to hone their skills and create acts to be performed in our end-of-camp mega-performance on July 20 at 5:30pm (rain date July 21 at noon).
Coaches: Joel Melendez, Heidi Kirchofer, Chelsea Barrett, and Christine Altman.
Limit 24 students.

Aerial Intensive
July 23–27, 2018
Monday–Friday, 9am–noon
For students age nine and up who want to focus on their aerial skills. Students will work on aerial fabric, trapeze, rope, and lyra. We will also give students tools for flexibility, strength, performance/artistry, partnering, and choreography.
Performance is on July 27, 5:30pm (rain date July 28 at noon).
Instructors are Heidi Kirchofer and Chelsea Barrett.
Limit 12 students.
