Circus Camp Seeks Artistic Director June 29-Aug 14

Calling all circus educators!

Cirque d'Été, a six-week circus and performing arts summer camp for elementary school students, is currently seeking an artistic director. Cirque d'Été runs in three two-week sessions. Each session holds new campers, a new theme, and an exciting new circus show for the kids to perform. We are looking for a creative, motivated, and energetic teacher who is a team player, driven leader, and has ample experience working with elementary school-age children.

Responsibilities of the artistic director:
- Lead the artistic vision of three circus shows, rehearsed and performed in a two-week session each.
- Oversee five daily specialty rotations in gymnastics, circus skills, art, drama/improv, and music.
- Act as lead supervisor of the Cirque d'Été program. Additional supervisory camp duties assigned as required.

Additional information for artistic director position:
- Experience working with elementary school-age children a must.
- Experience working in a summer camp environment a plus.
- Applicants with experience in teaching gymnastics, circus skills, art tnstruction, drama/improv, and music will receive preferential consideration.
Camp season runs June 29–August 14, 2020
Must be available for full camp session.
Hours of operation are Monday–Friday, 7:45–4:15pm.
Additional hours may be necessary for show preparation.
