TRAINING
BreakFit and Inversion Seminar July 9
Posted June 18, 2019
This three-hour class will use basic natural movement concepts and structures (plyometrics, pushing/pulling, reactive partner exercises, etc.) along with fundamental breaking (“breakdancing”) movements and techniques to create a unique, challenging, and fun experience for students.

This specific workshop will also focus heavily on inversion techniques and positions from breaking. We will briefly review headstands, elbowstands, and handstands as foundation, but then move on to less common positions and transitions.

Prerequisites:
Ability to perform 10 squats, 10 push-ups, 5+ second headstand and 2+ second handstand.

Save your spot in advance; minimum two students to run and cancellation policy is 48 hours.

About the instructor:
Alex Milewski is a movement artist and educator based out of Boulder, Colorado. His movement style is rooted in b-boying, martial arts, tricking, contemporary, and house dance. His mission is to lead people through movements and emotions that inspire new thinking and creativity. Alex focuses on this mission full time by continuing to be a student in many styles of movement and performing, competing, and exchanging on a daily basis.
