Big Teeth: Quirky Moves Workshop July 21
Posted July 11, 2019
This workshop is for intermediate level partner acrobats looking to add some fresh skills to their toolbox. We’ll share some of our favorites, both those for more traditional base/flyer pairs and for similar-sized partners, and discuss the philosophy of partnering from various origins in addition to traditional circus.

Pre-reqs: walking/jumping/solid in two-high as either base or flyer and base and fly basic two-high

This workshops needs a minimum of three students to run, so save your spot in advance.

This class is capped at six students. If the workshop is full and you would like to attend, please join the wait list, as we have the option to create a second group.

Cancellation policy is 48 hours.

About the Instructors/Company:
Naomi Ullian and Catherine Jett
Big Teeth is a collective of performers who vision and create through physical inquiry and a wide, kaleidoscopic queer lens. Our experiences as birth workers, farmers, anthropologists, and public health researchers reverberate throughout our work as acrobats, thespians, dancers, and choreographers. Our collaborations are athletic, conceptual, feminist, concrete, interrogative, and bursting with desire. Our members have trained at Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance in Colorado, the New England Center for Circus Arts in Vermont, and many places in between. As coaches, we bring years of teaching experience and a wide diversity of skill sets.
