Physical Theater, Mime, and Puppetry Apr 8-9
Posted April 4, 2017
London Physical Theater School - in New York

Puppetry through Mime
Saturday, April 8, 10am–3pm

Object manipulation: how to create impression of life and use puppetry for enhancement of your theater production. Mime: captivating movement quality and portrayal of visible-invisible.

On the crossing of these genres, we explore where puppet ends and puppeteer begins.

Platform Theater
Sunday, April 9, 2–7pm

Platform: an epic story in a contained playing space. A compact version of theater or film, which teaches a dramaturgic vision and demands a high level of physical precision.

Open presentation 6:40pm of created pieces will end the class!
